This graduate assistantship (0.25FTE or 0.5FTE) will provide program support to the Missouri Local Science Engagement Network (LSEN). The Missouri LSEN, based at the University of Missouri Graduate School, is a partnership between MOST Policy Initiative and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) that equips scientists and science enthusiasts to engage with decision-makers in Missouri. The person in this position will support evidence-based state and local policymaking in Missouri by finding and facilitating opportunities to elevate the role of science in policy conversations. We are looking for someone who is able to start this academic year (2021-22). This stipend for this position at 0.5FTE will be $25,000 for nine months ($12,500 for 0.25FTE), prorated based on the start date.
