Starting off as an idea between three graduate students at the University of Missouri, MOST Policy Initiative has since grown into a trusted source of policy expertise for state lawmakers and the communities they serve.
The Finance Specialist position is an excellent opportunity for someone with an aptitude for numbers and tracking important data to provide bookkeeping and grant management support for a small, Missouri-focused nonprofit. This is a new position that reports directly to the Executive Director. Ideal candidates will enjoy building and implementing new processes and procedures to support the financial administration of our nonprofit work.
Salary: $20-25/hour
Job Type: Part-Time (15hr/week)
Schedule: 4-5 days/week (Monday through Friday), at least 3hr/day (between 9am-5pm)
Work Location: Jefferson City or Remote (within MO)
Bookkeeping (via Quickbooks).
Grant Finance Management.
Annual Budget. Support Executive Director in annual budget preparation.
Other Administrative Support.
Experience managing business (particularly nonprofit) accounts on Quickbooks or similar platform
Nonprofit grant management experience
A part-time schedule
The ability to work remotely
