COVID-19 Vaccination and Equitable Distribution

Getting COVID-19 under control requires dedication from talented scientists. It also requires getting the vaccine where it’s needed most.

The Missouri Local Science Engagement Network is teaming up with Black Girls Do STEM for a Facebook Live Round Table Discussion regarding the COVID-19 vaccine and vaccine equity in Missouri. We’ll discuss vaccine hesitancy within Black Populations in Missouri and address misinformation about the process to approve the vaccine.

The virtual round table took place on Friday, January 29th at 3 pm. Dr. Daniel Hoft from the VTEU in St. Louis joined Cynthia Chapple (BGDSTEM), Dan English (Missouri LSEN), and Dr. Christelle Ilboudo, MD (University of Missouri). Dr. Kizzmekia Corbett from NIH provided video comments to the discussion.

The event is finished.
