Vikram completed his Bachelor’s degree in engineering physics at the University of Kansas. His undergraduate research in flow battery material science sparked an interest in energy storage, leading him to pursue his Ph.D. in chemical engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. His doctoral research focused on surface chemistry of metal oxide nanocrystals, studying various ligand exchange and nanocrystal processing methods for a range of applications. Since graduating, Vikram has worked in the public sector for the IRS. He is also an avid fan of movie soundtracks and a regular contributor of reviews and composer interviews to Film Score Monthly Online magazine.
Vikram’s interests include energy policy and infrastructure, particularly as they relate to renewable energy implementation. He values public service, loves writing, and looks forward to combining the two in working with state lawmakers to enact informed policy to benefit Missourians
