MOST Policy Initiative recently welcomed three new legislative science and technology policy fellows. The 2024-25 cohort is the fifth fellows cohort since the program launched in 2020-21. Legislative Policy Fellows serve as independent scientific advisors to the Missouri General Assembly. Fellows have published more than 297 Science Notes at the request of lawmakers since the program began.
Dr. Chinenye Izuegbunam will serve as the Agriculture, Conservation, Natural Resources, and Economic Development Fellow. She received her Ph.D. from the University of South Dakota in Biological Science.
Dr. Chris Wielga will serve as the Human Services, Public Safety, Corrections, and Elections Fellow. He attended the University of Missouri and received his Ph.D. in Public Affairs.
Dr. Maryluz H. Ensuncho will serve as the Energy, Environment, Utilities, and Transportation Fellow. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis with an emphasis on Higher Education.
