To serve as a boundary spanning organization between science and policy at the state and local levels by providing resources, fostering relationships, and showcasing collaborative solutions.
To create institutionalized collaboration and trust between the scientific community and decision-makers in Missouri and surrounding states.
To promote long-term health, sustainability, and economic growth for people and communities by connecting science and policy at the local and state levels.
Our work is made possible through the generous backing of our funders, who provide grants that support ongoing program operations. In the interest of maintaining independence, funders are not involved in the MOST Legislative Fellow selection process or in program operations in any way.
As the current sole funder for the MOST Executive Fellowship, the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations is involved in Executive Fellow selection and oversight regarding DOLIR-related activities.
MOST also relies on individual donations to promote evidence-based policymaking in Missouri. If you would like to support our mission, kindly consider making a donation here.
